JoDavi (Joshua Washington) is a composer, singer-songwriter, and musician based in North Carolina. Originally from Stockton, California, JoDavi has had the pleasure of leading a few bands, including Current Personae, the Gatekeepers, and Sugar Water Purple. The bands JoDavi has led have opened for Grammy award winning artists India Arie and Anthony Hamilton, and have backed artists like Alex Isley. JoDavi’s background in church gospel music and composition has given him the unique tools to create what he calls ‘Cinema Soul.’ His upcoming album, ‘Zion’ will feature his band, orchestra, and much more.
