Biography

I can’t seem to get it out as well any other way. Whatever ‘it’ is, it needs to come into me and flow from me; music is the vehicle for that. Sometimes that means I am cool and quiet, other times I might be caught in a whirlwind of passion bellowing square-wave cyclones, and thunderous screams. I am not polar, however. There is quite a lot of life lived on the thin line of sound between the yin and yang.
I have been inspired by music since I was a child. The first song I remember feeling, was ‘Pushin’ Too Hard’ by The Seeds. The song was 40, and I was four. The obvious obsession of punk music filled my teenage head, but Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, and Stones usually help my gypsy spirit stretch back into calm waters.
I like to think the music I create, weather my own or another’s, carries softness, expresses joy, and attempts to look for beauty while trying to remember the voiceless, and carry the pain.
That seems like a lot! But I don’t know what else to do with all the emotional radiance coming from me. Things are a lot better when I’m playing! So let’s PLAY!
